What it is: large-task is a Claude Cowork skill for bigger jobs, such as a contract review, a research memo or exporting a large set of data into an excel file. *** What it does: It starts with a handful of questions, so it has all the relevant context and the result fits what you actually need. It is built to work lean, reading long documents in sections to make the most of Claude's working memory and according to a plan it makes (and saves) before. It is designed to avoid made-up answers: before handing anything over, it checks every point against the sources it used, and only those. If a job needs more than one chat, it leaves a hand-off note so the next one carries on, also with a simple 'continue' prompt. *** How to use it: In Cowork, write "Use the large-task skill to…" or similar plus the task. To carry on in a new session, type "continue" or use the prompt that the session gives you.
