Lawve AI x MikeOSS

Lawve is now a suggested connector in Mike, the open-source legal AI platform, bringing skills written by legal practitioners into every Mike workspace.

Lawve Mike

GitHub Mike (opens in a new tab), the open-source legal AI platform created by former Latham & Watkins associate Will Chen, now lists Lawve among its suggested connectors, next to Slack, Notion, Airtable and Linear. Mike users add Lawve from the connector directory, approve the connection with their Lawve account, and their workspace can draw on 287 skills written by legal practitioners.

Mike gives firms a legal AI platform they can host and change themselves. Lawve brings the same openness to the methods the platform uses: every skill is public, names its author and shows its full method. Will Chen describes Lawve AI as "one of the largest online repositories of legal skills".

A skill in practice

Ask Mike to stress-test a submission before you file it. Through the Lawve connector, it finds Larissa Meredith-Flister Opposing Counsel Review (opens in a new tab), a skill by a solicitor qualified in England and Wales and in Canada, and attacks the argument the way the other side would. You see which skill Mike used and who wrote it, and you can open the full method on Lawve.

Built in the open

We wrote the integration ourselves and contributed it to Mike's repository as an GitHub open pull request (opens in a new tab), merged on 2 October. The connection uses the standard OAuth flow that Mike supports for hosted MCP servers, so no Mike deployment needs credentials specific to Lawve. Because the connector lives in Mike's open-source code, self-hosted deployments get it when they update.

It's only natural that an open library and an open platform come together.

Your data

The connector is read-only and reaches only the public Lawve catalogue. Mike sends Lawve the search terms it uses to find a skill, and your documents and matters stay in your Mike deployment. Skills support professional review. They are not legal advice.
