About
When a cross-border deal goes wrong, it is almost never because the law was unclear. It is because the contract was not built for the business reality behind it.
I work with established corporations, technology scale-ups, and in-house legal teams on high-stakes transactions where generic templates simply won't suffice. My practice focuses on international commercial contracts, cloud/SaaS licensing, AI governance frameworks, and complex cross-border transactions that cross multiple jurisdictions simultaneously.
My approach is built on what I call "Commercial DNA": designing contracts that are legally sound, operationally realistic, and structured around how a business actually functions, not just how it looks on paper.
My background brings a unique cross-cultural advantage to the table. After starting my legal career in Türkiye, I relocated to Canada in 2006. Having made North America my professional home for over two decades.
Furthermore, I spent 8 years embedded within the legal product engine of a leading global LegalTech enterprise. There, I engineered compliant, scalable contract architectures and automated legal solutions for highly regulated international markets, including Germany. This unique experience allows me to bridge the gap between traditional corporate risk management and modern LegalTech innovation.
Today, acting as a strategic remote counsel from Canada, I serve as a robust bridge for businesses operating across North America, Europe, and Türkiye.
I accept project-based mandates, contract drafting & structured reviews, and AI governance compliance consulting.
