About
Working as in-house counsel for a lean Fortune 500 company, I have to be a generalist. On any given week I'll be working across commercial contracts, modernising templates, internal reorganisations (asset or share transfers/wind ups), operationalising regulations, data governance and privacy, new product development, legal ops, and channel partner programs.
This has given me a broad view of in-house practice, as well as the opportunity to work closely with and learn from various other lawyers, compliance, marketing, cybersecurity, and business leaders. I enjoy working with different teams to find opportunities to improve our processes, contracts, playbooks, prioritisation frameworks, workflows, and create standard work to ultimately make our customers happier.
I designed the end-to-end procurement process for two legal tech tools, and in my personal time I try to stay on top of the latest developments in AI. I built a proof of concept for a hackathon to prototype what a regulatory operationalisation tool could look like, largely drawing from my experience applying complex regulations to various goods, hardware, software, and services in different industries, such as FMCG and industrial technology.
I am also finding and applying best practices for designing and deploying AI agent workflows, for example with custom skills in Claude and Codex, OpenClaw/Hermes agents, etc, to see how they can shape the future of legal practice, as well as building a couple of custom tools myself.
If you're interested in any of the above, let's connect and learn from each other.
