About
Hello, I'm Jennie, nice to meet you. I just graduated from the University of Law with an LLM SQE degree in March. In 2022, I had a MA Law degree in the University of Law. In 2021, I completed my master's degree at Queen Mary University of London, specializing in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution.
I recently completed a four-week Qualifying Work Experience placement as a Legal Advisor within a pro bono legal clinic, supporting immigration and housing matters. My experience included conducting legal research, preparing for and participating in client interviews, taking instructions, identifying evidential gaps, producing case chronologies and attendance notes, drafting client advice letters and correspondence, reviewing documentation and preparing handover notes.
I have also gained training in interviewing applicants and drafting witness statements for non-molestation order applications through my previous pro bono work with the National Centre for Domestic Violence. My academic experience includes research into online unfair competition and participation in an international commercial arbitration moot.
These experiences have strengthened my skills in legal research, legal drafting, client communication, fact-finding, case analysis and file management. I am particularly interested in dispute resolution and property-related work, while remaining open to opportunities that offer meaningful client contact and practical legal experience.
