Just published a skill on Lawve AI: "Legal Document Drafting & Formatting" — available directly in Claude.
This is a formatting skill. Its core value is producing properly-formatted Word documents from scratch — something most professional AI tools still struggle with. The substantive legal content, precedents, and judgement come from the lawyer using it; the skill takes that input and turns it into a well-structured .docx.
The output covers proper typography, automatic clause numbering, defined-terms convention, structured recitals, signature blocks, and standard boilerplate. It is particularly valuable when work begins from scratch. The skill also reformats existing .docx documents to a consistent house style.
Thanks to Mark Pike at Anthropic for the inspiring webinars on how to put Claude to work in legal teams — they have shaped a lot of my thinking on how usable AI tools have become for in-house work.
This is the second skill published by lawyers from our in-house legal team, and we hope the legal community can benefit from it.
